markets remote control motors that retrofit to existing drapery and vertical blinds. These patented motors are carried by distributors in the USA, Australia, Belgium, Russia, and the UK.

Their Challenge:
In 1994, Add-a-Motor had a great idea to add convenience and security to every home at affordable prices. For more than a year they searched for a turnkey manufacturing solution. In 1996, Crescent Industries was selected to:
design and build custom molds for Add-a-Motor's patented product line
• provide high-quality molding of plastic parts
assemble motor housing and control from 12 molded parts and 13 purchased components
warehouse customer inventory and provide logistical support to Add-a-Motor's sales office

Together with Crescent's team of mold designers/builders, injection molders, and complex assembly specialists, Add-a-Motor has refined its motor design, molding and assembly process to peak efficiency.
