Precision production machining is an important player in the production of high-accuracy and high quality components. It is one of the most important techniques used in industries today and used for shaping tools and parts to their highest possible level of accuracy and tolerance.
Since precision production machining is a complex and competitive industry, speed, accuracy and cost are all factors that need to be considered. At Crescent, we utilized advanced CNC automated machining centers and highly skilled labor to produce custom and complex components in a variety of materials and shapes.
To achieve a more efficient manufacturing process, we have a CMM located in our tooling facility. This gives us the ability to perform quality inspections on components during the manufacturing process, helping to deliver parts with increased accuracy and precision.
Crescent also offers precision Swiss screw machined components for our customers from moderate to high volumes, as finished products or inserts for the insert molding process. We manufacture product that has tight tolerances, high surface finishes in a wide array of materials and sizes. Materials include titanium, Monel™, molybdenum, bronze, copper, Nickel/Nickel alloy, brass, stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum and plastics.
Our precision machined components have been used in the defense, medical, dental, aerospace, safety and industrial markets.
Certifications Include: FDA Registered, ISO 13485:2003, ISO 9001:2008, ITAR and Federal Firearms License.
